I'm sad to say that the trip is almost over. In less than 48 hours, we will be on an airplane headed back to the US. It seems like last week when we first arrived here, and yesterday when we were in Rhodes. I can't believe so much has happened in such a short amount of time.
Before we left, I was fully anticipating the most moving experience to have something to do with thousand of year old rocks. But, the thing I'll probably remember most of all is the soccer game we went to the second Wednesday here. It was amazing and so much fun. We arrived and bought our soccer gear, and then sat next to the "sick men" who were crazed with the spirit of the sport. When the home team scored in the last two minutes, I thought the stadium would explode, even though there weren't a lot of people there.
Overall, its hard to pick a favorite moment in Greece. Whenever I'm at home and people ask, I'll probably give a top five. It's been such an amazing experience, and I'm so grateful to have the chance to go on it. I'm glad we had such a great time, and I'm sad to leave this wonderful country.
