I can see Turkey from my house!

Today we took an hour flight into Rhodes where we’ll stay for the rest of the week until flying back to Athens on Friday. So far it’s been beautiful! Our hotel overlooks the Aegean Sea and is super close to a bunch of cute restaurants and shops.

The best part so far…as we were driving to our hotel from the airport our Professor told us to look out the windows to our left. We all did and to our surprise he told us that we were looking at Turkey!! It’s cool to think about how far away we actually are from home.

This week we will visit the Acropolis of Rhodes, along with the Palace and Museum of Rhodes and take a day trip to Lindos. It’s weird to think that once we leave here to go back to Athens we’ll only have a few short days left in Greece before returning home to Parkland. But for now, I’m going to soak up every last adventure that Greece has to offer :)
