Free Day

Today was an interesting day. There were demonstrations going on around town, so since it was our free day most of us decided to go somewhere far, far away. We took a bus up to Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon and go to the beach.

Once we hiked up to the Temple, we had a view of everything and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Next we went to the beach where we collected mini seashells and were content just looking out over the water.

After the sun started to go down and it got a little chilly we found a café to stop and eat and get warm before our bus came to take us back home. The café had the most delicious chocolate crepes EVER which were almost too pretty to eat.

Overall even though it was hard to make plans with so much going on in the city, it turned out to be a pretty great day.
