Praise be to the Name of God

In Daniel 2:20-23 Daniel praises God for revealing the meaning behind King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream to him so that he too would not have to be executed with the other wise men of Babylon.

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are his.
He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.
He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.
I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king.”

Although I haven’t been in Daniels exact position, I’ve felt like praising God during this trip as well.

Thanking Him for the opportunity to be here in Greece

For the great weather (and no snow!)

For my warm apartment

For food to eat

And just for everything He’s created, big

And small.

I'm even thankful for the opportunity to not only be here, but to be learning while I'm here as well.

Overall I think this trip has helped me to see just how great God really is.
