Today I lost my head.
Before I had mundane hair. It was nothing special, yes it was long but other than that it had no character. Now thanks to the magic works of my Greek hairstylist I have transformed my hair to fit my personality perfectly. The weird part is that I did not tell him what I wanted at all, just to keep this same length. Yet he was able to produce this darling cut that matches me. How he was able to do this I will never know, but he truly is a master at his work.
I have to admit that I was little timid to relinquish my hair to someone whom I could not communicate with due to the language barrier. I did have Dr. Finitsis translating, but there was still that barrier. Regardless of the language barrier, this salon was quite an experience. Just getting my hair washed was amazing. The washer was very gentle with my hair, it was like a mini massage and quite relaxing, which in a salon is quite difficult for me. After my wash the hairstylist worked his magic. I still cannot believe that he was able to conform my hair to fit my personality so perfectly. Looks like I am going to be flying to Greece to get my hair done. This hair cut was worth every euro spent, plus the tram ride and two busses it took to get there. All worth it for an epic haircut. Plus how many people in Washington can say they got their hair styled in Greece.
This haircut was the cherry on top for the trip.
The food today was quite enjoyable. For lunch I had a delicious pasta salad that had the most incredible olives, lentils, and the tomatoes were even so delicious that I ate them (usually I greatly despise tomatoes). The delicious salad plus my kindle at my side made for a great lunch. I am slightly ashamed to say that I had a Greek veggie Dominos pizza for dinner. It was quite a pizza and way better than American dominos. They do not even deserve to be on the same level.
My haircut is what made this day truly incredible. Today I lost my head, for a new and improved one, ready for the trip to the beautiful island of Corfu.
