Welcome to Athens!

We made it!
After what seems like forever planning this trip, it's finally here.
Instead of sitting in my dorm room at PLU in Parkland I'm sitting in my apartment room after eating a delicious Greek meal. After finally figuring out how to turn the lights over the staircase on, and how to successfully open our front door it's starting to feel like home.
I'm not exactly sure what I imagined Greek life to be like, but so far it's been great. The only thing that has been harder than I imagined has been taking pictures, because I want to capture everything! I guess something that did surprise me however, was how the city seems to constantly be busy outside of our apartment. There are always cars speeding by, horns honking, dogs barking, but at the same time it still seems very peaceful.
Today we had our first class which went well and consisted of watching to movie "Agora." Tomorrow we have another full day in Greece, and I can't wait to see what's to come!
