In Between

This whole amazing experience first began in Parkland after submitting an application to travel to Greece for Jterm and being accepted. Afterwards there were many meetings and even a few class days on PLU’s campus before boarding the plane to finally land in Pangrati. Once we got here we were greeting with new people, living arrangements, food, and adventures. We needed to ask ourselves…how do we react? We’re in a new place that’s not our home, in a sort of “in between” since we’ll be living here for about a month. So far I think everyone has done amazingly well. It helps that Greece has been extremely welcoming, the food has been fantastic, and every day has been better than the one before. For me I have realized that is important to at least try new things, as well as appreciate the differences in the culture that you are coming into. That is the best way to live "in between."
